Experience gained on the ECO - Kaštela Bay Project

Abstract

Reasons for forming the ECO - Kaštela Bay Agency are given in the initial part of the paper. Three sub-projects, with facilities and devices they are made of, are described. Problems faced during realization of the project are presented. Most difficulties were encountered in attempts to meet building permit delivery requirements, particularly those related to property-rights issues. Results of activities carried out so far are presented and, in conclusion, lessons to be drawn from experience gained on this project are given.
