Presentation of the Feasibility study for the Dubrovnik - Zagreb high speed road

Abstract

The content of the "Feasibility study for the Dubrovnik - Zagreb high speed road", as presented in Zagreb on May 12, 2000, is described. It is emphasized that no advancement in economy or in any other field can be expected in Croatia unless an adequate connection between the south and north portions of the country is established. Principal features of the Study, from its basic assumptions to financing requirements, are presented. A particular emphasis is placed on the advantages of the high-speed road when compared to solutions proposed for realization.
